Sailing Clubs
Lake Lotawana is a strong sailing lake. The C-Scow, MC’s and Butterfly fleets race on Saturdays and Sundays welcoming all sailors, juniors, seniors, male and female, who are members of the fleet to compete in these races. Each fleet hosts a sailing regatta inviting sailors from other lakes to compete. The Junior Butterfly Fleet races on Tuesday with a brunch following. It teaches youngsters the art of racing. The Social Butterflies is a Ladies sailing/social club that races on Wednesday.Other Clubs
The Missouri Yacht Club is a private social club that sponsors the sailboat races, Lotawana Day and the Lotawana Ski Club. It has monthly entertainment such as dinner-dances, Sunday Brunches, Thursday night Buffets, pontoon boat parties and various social activities for youngsters.The Lotawana Ski Club promotes skiing and sportsmanship for the youth of the lake. With the help of adult advisors they presents a full ski show for Lotawana Days.
Other Clubs include The Lotawana Community Club , The Sportsmans Club, The Beautification comitee, Lake Lotawana Garden Club, Lotawana Optimist Club and Lotawana Shrine Club.
